Today, Sue had her first chemotherapy treatment. We saw the Oncologist first at 9:00 in the morning, and then went over to the infusion center for the chemo at 9:40. She was done around 2:30 in the afternoon. They have nice private rooms to sit in while they administer the drugs. Cheryl came for a visit while we were there.

The procedure went well. Sue did not have any negative reaction to the drugs. They gave her a prescription for a couple of anti nausea drugs, but she doesn't have to take any until she starts to feel nauseous. So far she feels normal. They said it may take a few days before she starts to experience any side effects from the drugs.
